More about usAnswers
The questions Umbraco owners ask us most.
Usually 2 to 6 weeks. Sites with standard property editors sit at the low end. Custom AngularJS editors, dashboards and packages, which must be rebuilt for the new backoffice, push it higher.
Partly: security fixes only, until 14 December 2026. Bug fixes ended on 14 December 2025. After 14 December 2026 Umbraco 13 LTS gets no patches at all, so plan the move to Umbraco 17 LTS now.
Yes, as one project, but not in place. Umbraco 9 moved from .NET Framework to modern .NET, so content is migrated with tooling such as uSync and the code is rebuilt for Umbraco 17.
Not without changes. Since Umbraco 14 the backoffice is built with Web Components (Lit) instead of AngularJS, so custom property editors, dashboards and content apps are rebuilt as backoffice extensions.
A fixed price, agreed before work starts. We base it on a free audit of your code, packages and content, so the number does not change halfway through.
